Liam McGrattan has a background in sales and finance, and successfully launched Custom Finance Ltd., a specialist leasing company. For the past ten years Liam McGrattan has specialised in the small cap equities market and has been involved in a number of highly successful private and publicly quoted companies on the ICAP Securities & Derivatives Exchange Limited (ISDX) (previously PLUS-quoted market) and the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange.
Liam McGrattan currently holds a directorship in IMC Exploration Group plc, quoted on the PLUS market. He is also Chairman of Proventus Renewables plc, quoted on the GXG market. Liam McGrattan is a former director of Great Western Mining Corporation plc, quoted on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange.
Liam studied French and Swedish at University College Dublin.
Glenn Millar was awarded a PhD in Structural Geology (1990) and an MBA (2007). His PhD research focused on structures in the Irish Carboniferous terrain. He has contributed to various geological and mapping publications and his research has been widely cited.
Glenn's career has given him expertise and proficiency in many aspects of geology and management. He founded Exploration Mapping Solutions (ExMap), was a business development manager in mapping software firm eSpatial Solutions and a senior consultant at ERA-Maptec.
While with ERA-Maptec, Glenn accumulated eighteen years professional experience as a geological consultant to the mining and hydrocarbon exploration industries worldwide. He has advised both major and junior mining companies in geological projects within Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and North and South America.
Laz Fleming has 40 years experience in various sectors of the Minerals and Mining Industry, including 27 years in Brazil. During the 90's he acted as Country Manager of Canadian Companies (South Western Gold Corp. and Hillsborough Resources Corp.) and an Irish Company (Ovoca Resources plc) during the 80's and early 90's. His direction and supervision of exploration programmes in Brazil led to the discoveries of additional diamond and gold resources in Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais and Goias States. He is involved in ongoing Project Generation and has also carried out Geological Due Diligence investigations on mineral properties in Brazil, Bolivia, Angola, Guinea, Portugal and Turkey.
Laz is a Euro Geologist (EurGeol) and a professional member (P.Geo) of the Institute of Geologists of Ireland (IGI). He was a founding member of the Irish Association for Economic Geology (IAEG) in 1973. He qualifies as a Competent Person for National Instrument 43/101, Canada, AIM and Plus Market (UK). His fluency in Portuguese is accompanied by a good working knowledge of Spanish.
Nial Ring (FCCA) graduated from Dublin City University with an Accounting/Finance Degree and began his career with Allied Irish Bank plc. He is a licentiate of the Institute of Bankers and has a Diploma in Financial Services Law from the National University of Ireland, Dublin.
Nial has a background in the financial services industry in Dublin, London and New York and has held senior banking positions with Allied Irish Bank plc and Bankgesellschaft, Berlin. He has also served as General Manager of Barrick Capital Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Barrick Gold, based in Dublin's International Financial Services Centre.
Nial holds several directorships and has served for ten years as a government appointee on the Board of IDA Ireland, the Irish Government's International Industrial Development Authority. He is a former director of Great Western Mining Corporation plc quoted on AIM.
At present Nial is involved in several businesses as an executive and investor and is an elected member of Dublin City Council. He is also a member of the Irish Commercial Mediation Association and is a Peace Commissioner appointed by the Irish Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform.
